CHILD SAFETY

Child Safety Standards

Bindar (developer: Nathan Hui) · Last updated: 2026-07-04

Bindar is a community app for trading-card collectors. Keeping the community safe — especially minors — is a condition of using Bindar, not an afterthought. This page describes our standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and how to reach us about child-safety concerns.

Zero tolerance for CSAE

Bindar has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form. This includes, without limitation: child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, sexualization of minors, and attempts to arrange in-person contact with a minor for abusive purposes.

Any account engaging in this behavior is permanently banned, its content removed, and — where the content or conduct is illegal — reported to the appropriate authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the relevant regional authority, in accordance with applicable law.

Age requirements

Bindar is not directed at children. Per our Terms of Service, you must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use Bindar, and users under 18 should use Bindar only with a parent or guardian's permission and supervision — especially for in-person trades. Accounts identified as belonging to users under the minimum age are removed.

In-app reporting

Every user-generated surface in Bindar — profiles, chat messages, and shared pulls — has a built-in report and block mechanism:

Reports involving potential harm to a minor are prioritized ahead of all other moderation work.

How we respond to CSAM

If we become aware of CSAM or CSAE conduct on Bindar, we will:

  1. Remove the content and permanently ban the account immediately
  2. Report it to NCMEC or the appropriate regional authority as required by applicable law
  3. Preserve relevant records as required for lawful investigation
  4. Cooperate with law enforcement requests through our designated contact below

Compliance with child safety laws

Bindar complies with applicable child safety and online protection laws in the regions where the app is available, including mandatory CSAM reporting obligations. We review these standards as laws and platform policies evolve.

Child safety contact

For any child-safety concern — from users, parents, researchers, or law enforcement — contact our designated child safety point of contact:

support@bindar.app — put "Child Safety" in the subject line for priority handling.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. You can also report directly to NCMEC's CyberTipline or, in Canada, Cybertip.ca.
