Effective June 26, 2026
These Terms govern your use of the Bindar app and website ("Bindar"). By creating an account or using Bindar, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use Bindar.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use Bindar. If you're under 18, use Bindar only with a parent or guardian's permission and supervision, especially for in-person meetups.
You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your email secure. Provide accurate information and don't impersonate others or pick a handle you don't have the right to use.
Bindar is a discovery and messaging tool that helps players find nearby people who want to trade cards, and chat to arrange a meetup. Bindar is not a party to any trade. We don't buy, sell, ship, verify, escrow, or guarantee any card, trade, or user.
Trades happen in person, at your own risk. Bindar does not verify users or the authenticity, condition, or ownership of any card. Meet in a safe, public place (like a local game shop), inspect cards yourself, and use good judgment. You trade entirely at your own risk.
Bindar does not process payments and takes no fee. The app may let you mention cash as part of a proposal, but any money is arranged and exchanged directly between users, in person, at their own risk. Bindar is not responsible for any payment, loss, or dispute.
You agree not to:
You keep ownership of the content you add (binders, messages, photos). You grant Bindar a limited license to store and display that content as needed to run the service (for example, showing your public binder to nearby users). You're responsible for your content, and we may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
Trading-card images, names, and game logos are the property of their respective owners (including Bandai). Bindar is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Bandai or any game publisher. The Bindar name, logo, and app are ours.
You can stop using Bindar and delete your account at any time (Profile → Delete account). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or to protect users.
Bindar is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that you'll find trades, that other users are who they say they are, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bindar and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss, injury, or dispute arising from interactions or trades between users, including in-person meetups. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us (which is currently nothing).
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
We may update these Terms; we'll update the effective date and, for material changes, notify you in the app. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
